Additional production
Aisle 6 Productions regularly supplies additional production to the Princess Theatre to suit events ranging from touring rock bands to Opera and conference events. Capacity
The maximum rated capacity of the Princess Theatre is 500 people.
The capacity may be reduced depending on the style of the hire:
- Standing: 500 capacity
- Banquet style: 80-100
- Theatre (seated) style: 400 (including balcony) or 280 (excluding balcony). Note that this would require the hiring of 160 chairs. Without hiring chairs, the maximum seated capacity is 240.
Hours of operation
The licenced hours of operation are:
- Monday to Saturday 8am to 10pm
- Sunday 8am to 9pm
No noise can be made outside of these times.
Sound pressure limits
Brisbane City Council imposes a noise limit of 5dB(A) above ambient at measured at neighbouring properties. In order to respect our neighbours and meet this requirement, the following are strictly enforced:
- Sound to be no greater than 98db(A) at the mix position at all times.
- Sound to be no greater than 98db(A) in the middle of the backstage area at all times.
- All backstage and auditorium Windows and Doors to be closed.
